Delmonico is a proud, easy fleshing, soft made, deep ribbed bull with a balanced performance and end-product merit EPD profile uniquely expressed in a functionally attractive phenotype. He is stout made setting down on a large, excellently shaped foot with extra heel depth that enables his long, free striding movement.

Like his dam, Delmonico is very docile and easy to work with. His added muscle expression, depth of rib and extra volume distinguishes him among the current field of Discovery sons.

Delmonico’s dam is a gorgeous mother cow having a beautiful balanced udder with small teats. She has raised three natural heifer calves that are retained in the herd at MB Genetics with an adjusted average weaning weight slightly over 700 pounds. She has produced three ET bull calves with an adjusted average weaning weight of 753 pounds. 1104M scanned an individual 6.7% IMF and her first daughter by Connealy Confidence scanned over 8.6% for IMF to give Delmonico a family heritage of added carcass merit!

Delmonico’s individual performance mirrors his genetic evaluation arriving with an adjusted birth weight of 83 pounds, weaning at an adjusted weight of 864 pounds and reaching an adjusted yearling weight of 1,632 pounds. He was used as a long yearling on virgin heifers, with his first very docile progeny born unassisted and vigorous. Birth weights were in the very acceptable 80 pound range followed by his own rapid growth rate.
