Axis might be the outcross choice of 2011.  Sired by TNT Tuition U238 (SAV Final Answer x TNT Hemi) and out of a black TNT Gunner cow, use the ¾ blood Axis bull on purebred cows for the next generation of great purebred Simmental cattle.  Axis was the lead off and $31,000 top selling bull of the 2011 TNT bulls sale in North Dakota.  With his birth weight EPD in the top 10% of all bulls able to sire purebred calves and his Yearling Weight EPD in the top 3%, he defines what a spread bull should be and he’s still in the top 15% for both Marbling and Rib Eye EPDs.  Individually he was 107 at weaning, 109 at yearling and scanned a 17.2 square inch rib eye to ratio 122. As an added bonus, he is physically tremendous.  Long sided, deep bodied, sound structured and blessed with balance, he was a sale day feature and favorite.
